Special track on European and National Projects
ΜΤSR 2015: 9th Metadata and Semantics Research Conference
September 9-11, 2015
Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, United Kingdom
Aim and Scope
The aim of the track on European and National Projects of the MTSR 2015 is to promote collaboration, networking, knowledge sharing and output dissemination among EU and non-EU projects related to metadata, semantics, ontologies, research information systems, data infrastructures, linked data, open repositories and digital libraries research. In particular, the objectives of this track are:
- To bring together representatives from different EU and non-EU projects for the purpose of knowledge sharing, problem solving, collaboration and brainstorming.
- To provide the opportunity for representatives of these projects to engage with conference participants, disseminate research output and receive feedback, or seek collaboration and expertise.
- To identify new opportunities for EU and non-EU-funded metadata, semantics and digital libraries research.
Paper Submissions
Interested authors can also submit to EasyChair under the type “European and National projects” either full papers (12 pages) or short papers (6 pages) reporting on either mature or ongoing research. Papers should be original and not previously submitted to other venues. Submission will be available through the EasyChair submission system. If you haven't an EasyChair account yet, you'll be asked to create it before you can access the MTSR'15 page. All submissions will follow a double-blind peer review process and will be published by Springer in the CCIS book series (see the MTSR 2015 CfP).
Submitted papers have to follow the LNCS proceedings formatting style and guidelines. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to register to the Conference and present their work in the form of either oral presentation or poster presentation. The Conference welcomes Workshops and Tutorial on any issues concerning the main themes of MTSR such as metadata, ontologies, semantic Web, knowledge management, software engineering and digital libraries.
